Ingredients
Scale
- 1 pound sirloin or ribeye steak
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 2 medium fresh zucchini, sliced into half-moons
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter (or olive oil)
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
Instructions
- Heat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat.
- Generously season the steak with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Place the seasoned steak on the hot surface and cook for about 4–5 minutes per side for medium-rare or until desired doneness is reached.
- While the steak cooks, slice the zucchini. Once the steak is done, set it aside to rest.
- In the same pan, add butter along with minced garlic. Let it melt before tossing in the sliced zucchini. Sauté until tender, about 3–4 minutes.
- Slice the rested steak against the grain and arrange it on a plate with sautéed zucchini around it. Drizzle any remaining garlic butter over everything and garnish with chopped parsley.
