  • 3/4 cup brown sugar, packed

  • 2 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line two baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
  3. In another bowl, beat softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Add eggs one at a time along with vanilla extract; mix until combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry mixture into your wet ingredients until just combined. Fold in chocolate chips gently.
  5. In a separate bowl, beat softened cream cheese until smooth. Gradually add powdered sugar and vanilla extract; mix until well combined.
  6. Scoop cookie dough onto prepared baking sheets. Make an indentation in each scoop using your thumb or a teaspoon.
  7. Fill each indentation with about a teaspoon of cheesecake filling and cover with more cookie dough.
  8. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes or until edges are golden brown while centers remain slightly underbaked.
  9. Transfer to wire racks to cool slightly before enjoying!
