- 3–4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into strips
- 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 cup low-sodium chicken broth
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
Instructions
- Slice the chicken breasts into thin strips.
- Chop the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
- Mince the garlic.
- In a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat, add sesame oil. Once hot, add the sliced chicken and sauté until golden brown on all sides (about 5-7 minutes).
- Add minced garlic and broccoli florets to the pan. Stir for about three minutes until the broccoli is tender yet still crunchy.
- In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, chicken broth, and cornstarch until smooth. Pour this mixture over the chicken and broccoli in the pan. Stir well to coat evenly and let it simmer for another minute or two until thickened.
- Transfer to plates or bowls and serve hot over steamed rice or noodles.
