Description

Crispy on the outside and filled with gooey Nutella, these fried dumplings are the ultimate sweet treat for any occasion. Perfect for impressing guests or satisfying your cravings!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup dough wrappers (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup Nutella
  • Oil for frying (vegetable or canola)
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar

Instructions

  1. Gather all ingredients. If making dough from scratch, roll it out thinly and cut into circles using a cookie cutter.
  2. Place about one tablespoon of Nutella in the center of each dough circle, being careful not to overfill.
  3. Moisten the edges with water, fold to form a half-moon shape, and press firmly to seal. Crimp with a fork for decoration if desired.
  4. In a deep skillet, heat about two inches of oil to 350°F (175°C). A test drop of dough should sizzle in the oil.
  5. Carefully add dumplings to the hot oil without overcrowding. Fry until golden brown (about 2-3 minutes per side) and drain on paper towels.
  6. While still warm, dust generously with powdered sugar before serving.
