Instructions

- In one bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and instant coffee granules.
- In another bowl, combine melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract; mix until smooth.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and stir until just combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out mostly clean.
- For frosting, beat softened butter until creamy; gradually add powdered sugar and mix well. If using coffee liqueur, add it now.
- Once brownies are completely cooled, spread frosting evenly over the top.
