Ingredients

  • 4 medium fresh apples, cored and sliced
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond flour
  • 1 scoop protein powder (vanilla or unflavored)
  • 1/4 cup melted coconut oil
  • 1 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch baking dish with coconut oil.
  2. In a bowl, toss sliced apples with cinnamon and honey until evenly coated.
  3. Spread the apple mixture evenly in the prepared baking dish.
  4. In another bowl, combine rolled oats, almond flour, protein powder, melted coconut oil, and remaining cinnamon.
  5. Mix until everything binds together nicely.
  6. Sprinkle the topping generously over the apple filling.
  7. Bake for about 30 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Allow to cool slightly before serving.
