  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and spray a baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Pat the chicken thighs dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together maple syrup, garlic, Dijon mustard, and soy sauce until smooth.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Sear chicken thighs skin-side down for about 5 minutes until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 3 minutes.
  5. Transfer chicken to the baking dish, pour half of the marinade over them, and bake for 25-30 minutes until cooked through.
  6. Brush remaining marinade on top of each thigh and bake for an additional 5 minutes to caramelize before serving.
