- 8 oz feta cheese (crumbled)
- 6 sheets phyllo dough (thawed)
- 3 tbsp extra virgin olive oil (divided)
- 1 tsp chili flakes
- 1/2 cup honey
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- Additional chili flakes (to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and prepare a baking sheet with nonstick spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine crumbled feta cheese, 1 tbsp olive oil, and chili flakes until well mixed.
- Lay out one sheet of phyllo dough on a clean surface and brush it lightly with olive oil. Repeat this process for three layers.
- Spoon some feta filling at one end of the layered dough and roll it tightly like a burrito. Place seam-side down on the baking sheet.
- Brush each roll generously with remaining olive oil. Bake for about 20 minutes or until golden brown.
- In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine honey and soy sauce until warmed through.
- Stir in additional chili flakes according to your heat preference.
- Once baked, drizzle the rolls with spicy chili honey before serving.
