- 8 ounces medium shell pasta
- 4 cloves fresh minced garlic
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions
- 1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil.
- 2. Add shell pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain, reserving about 1 cup of pasta water.
- 1. Cut steak into bite-sized pieces and pat dry with paper towels.
- 2. Season generously with salt and pepper.
- 3. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, melt half of the butter.
- 4. Add steak bites in batches and sear each side for about 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove from the pan and set aside.
- 1. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic. Sauté for about one minute until fragrant.
- 2. Slowly pour in heavy cream while stirring continuously.
- 3. Gradually stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth; if too thick, add reserved pasta water to reach desired consistency.
- 1. Toss cooked shell pasta into the skillet along with seared steak bites.
- 2. Stir well to coat everything in the sauce and serve immediately, garnished with extra Parmesan or fresh parsley if desired.
