- 2 1/4 tsp active dry yeast
- 1 cup warm milk (110°F)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 4 sausage links (about 8 oz), cooked and chopped
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk, sugar, and yeast; let sit for 5 minutes until frothy. Gradually add flour and salt while stirring until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise in a warm spot for about an hour until doubled in size.
- Cook sausage links in a skillet over medium heat until browned; chop into pieces. In another pan, scramble eggs until just set.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle; spread sausage pieces, scrambled eggs, and cheese evenly across it. Roll tightly into logs and cut into individual pieces.
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Place rolls on a parchment-lined baking sheet and bake for 15-20 minutes until golden brown. Brush with melted butter before serving.
