Ingredients
Scale
- 3 medium ripe bananas
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 large eggs
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup Nutella
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a muffin tin by greasing it lightly or lining it with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.
- Add melted butter, sugar, eggs, and salt to the mashed bananas. Stir until well combined.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour and baking soda. Gradually fold this mixture into the wet ingredients until just combined; avoid overmixing.
- Scoop half of the batter into each muffin cup. Add a generous dollop of Nutella on top, then cover with the remaining batter. Swirl with a toothpick for a marbled effect.
- Place in the oven and bake for about 18-20 minutes or until golden brown and a toothpick inserted comes out clean (except for some Nutella).
- Allow muffins to cool slightly before serving warm, optionally drizzled with extra Nutella.
