Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine warm milk and yeast; let sit for five minutes until bubbly. In another bowl, mix flour and sugar. Add yeast mixture, melted butter, and eggs to dry ingredients; stir until combined.
  2. Transfer dough to a floured surface; knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic. Place in a greased bowl, cover with a towel, and let rise for one hour until doubled in size.
  3. Prepare filling by mixing sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl. Punch down risen dough and roll into a rectangle on a floured surface. Spread with melted butter and sprinkle cinnamon-sugar mixture evenly.
  4. Roll the dough tightly from one edge; place seam-side down in a greased loaf pan. Let rise for another 30-45 minutes until puffy. Preheat oven to 350°F during this time.
  5. Bake for 30-35 minutes or until golden brown on top. Cool slightly on a wire rack before slicing.
