- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup crab meat, fresh or canned
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 24 wonton wrappers
- Oil for frying
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix until well blended and creamy.
- Take one wonton wrapper and place about one tablespoon of filling in the center.
- Moisten the edges with water and fold over to form a triangle. Press firmly to seal and eliminate air bubbles.
- Heat oil in a frying pan or deep fryer to around 350°F (175°C).
- Fry filled wontons in small batches for about two minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
