Description

Enjoy a delightful crunch with these Crispy Crab Rangoon Bombs. A rich cream cheese and crab filling wrapped in golden, crispy wonton wrappers makes for the perfect appetizer or snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup crab meat, fresh or canned
  • 2 green onions, finely chopped
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 24 wonton wrappers
  • Oil for frying

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, crab meat, chopped green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix until well blended and creamy.
  2. Take one wonton wrapper and place about one tablespoon of filling in the center.
  3. Moisten the edges with water and fold over to form a triangle. Press firmly to seal and eliminate air bubbles.
  4. Heat oil in a frying pan or deep fryer to around 350°F (175°C).
  5. Fry filled wontons in small batches for about two minutes on each side or until golden brown. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.
  6. Serve hot with your favorite dipping sauce.
