- 8 oz sliced turkey breast
- 4 oz provolone cheese
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, chopped basil leaves, and lemon juice until smooth. Set aside.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat. Slice the rolls in half if they are not pre-sliced.
- Spread basil mayo generously on both sides of each roll. Layer sliced turkey on one side and top with provolone cheese.
- Place sandwiches in the heated skillet. Grill each side for about 4-5 minutes until golden brown and crispy.
- Remove from heat and slice diagonally for presentation. Drizzle any remaining basil mayo on top before serving.
