Description

Experience the cozy delight of Slow Cooker Garlic Butter Beef with Potatoes—a hearty dish where tender beef and creamy potatoes come together for a comforting family meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 34 lbs Beef Chuck Roast
  • 2 lbs Yukon Gold or Red Potatoes, cut into chunks
  • 6 cloves Fresh Garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 2 cups Beef Broth (low-sodium)
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 tsp Dried Thyme
  • 1 tsp Dried Rosemary

Instructions

  1. Prepare Your Ingredients: Gather all ingredients. Rinse and chop potatoes into large chunks. Mince garlic cloves until fragrant.
  2. Season Your Beef: Generously season beef chuck roast with salt and pepper on all sides.
  3. Sear The Meat: In a hot skillet over medium-high heat, melt half of the butter and sear the beef roast for about 4–5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  4. Assemble In The Slow Cooker: Place potato chunks at the bottom of the slow cooker. Lay the seared beef roast on top, then sprinkle minced garlic over everything.
  5. Add Broth And Seasonings: Pour in beef broth until it nearly covers everything, then sprinkle thyme and rosemary over the dish.
  6. Let It Cook: Cover and cook on low for about 8 hours or high for around 4 hours. Once done, serve with crusty bread or a fresh salad.
